JavaScript, on its own, is one of the backbones of web development today. It allows for virtually unlimited control over the web document in a very flexible manner. JavaScript Frameworks are extensions to JavaScript and allow further functionality and efficiency, whether it be a library of accessible functions or an entire make-over of the syntax and programming structure. Lucky for JavaScript fans, there is an ever-growing number of libraries and frameworks out there, but which ones should you learn? All of them? Is that even possible? Let’s take a look at five JavaScript frameworks that play a big role in the web today, thus a real asset for an upcoming internet programmer as well as an experienced JavaScript developer!

Angular is a Model-View-Controller (MVC) framework, which efficiently connects the user interface to underlying data models. This means that with the use of two-way data binding and dependency injection, changes in the backend are immediately reflected in the user interface and vice versa. Not only is Angular one of the most popular frameworks amongst JavaScript developers and job scouts, it was actually developed by Google, first released in 2009.
